This policy outlines how we collect consent to communicate with you, how you may opt out, and how you can request deletion of your personal data in accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), A2P 10DLC guidelines, Illinois state law, and general privacy best practices.

A. SMS/Text Messaging (A2P 10DLC Compliant)
When you provide your mobile number and opt in, you agree to receive messages related to:
- Service updates
- Appointment reminders
- Offers and alerts
You agree to:
- Message frequency as needed
- Message/data rates that may apply
- Receive texts until you opt out
How you opt in: By checking a box on a form, replying “YES,” or giving verbal/written consent.
B. Email
You may receive emails after:
- Submitting a contact form
- Requesting a quote or consultation
- Signing up for updates or resources
These emails may include service updates, promotions, and cybersecurity insights. You will never be enrolled without your explicit consent.
C. Phone Calls
For promotional or automated voice calls, we require your express written or verbal consent. You will be informed if a call is recorded and may decline participation.
2. Opt-Out Policy
A. SMS/Text Messages
To stop receiving texts:
- Reply STOP to any FORTRESS text
- Email us at support@itfortress.com
- Call us at 847-752-4560
All opt-out requests are processed within 72 hours.
B. Email
To opt out of emails:
- Click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email
- Email support@itfortress.com with the subject “Unsubscribe”
Transactional emails may still be sent to complete active service or compliance obligations.
C. Phone Calls
To stop receiving marketing or automated calls:
- Request to opt out during any call
- Email support@itfortress.com
- Call 847-752-4560 and ask to be placed on our “Do Not Call” list
Requests are honored within 5 business days.
3. Requesting Removal of All Personal Data
You may request that FORTRESS delete all personally identifiable information we have stored about you, including:
- Name, phone, and email records
- Service records and interaction logs
- Communication history and marketing preferences
To request data deletion:
- Email support@itfortress.com with the subject “Delete My Data”
